This haunting piece tells the forgotten story of those interned at Lager Sylt, a concentration camp built on the island of Alderney, were over 700 people lost their lives (although recent accounts suspect this number to be much higher). This piece, for Alto Saxophone, Vibraphone and Double Bass, was written for the Charlotte New Music Festival 2015, where it was premiered by The Great Noise Ensemble. It's title in Guernesais translates as 'would you like a little tipple?' and the piece creates the image of a lazy and hazy summer's evening spent drinking wine.
