In June 2015 I was selected to take part in the Charlotte New Music Festival, in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
As part of the festival I was commissioned to write a new work for the Great Noise Ensemble, which was subsequently premiered by them at the QUC Theatre on June 24th - you can here the performance by following the link: https://soundcloud.com/charlottenewmusic/lydia-jane-pugh-voul-ous-enne?in=charlottenewmusic/sets/2015-cnmf-great-noise-ensemble-composers-concert
I also took part in the Speedwriting project, in which I wrote new piece in a week for Solo Cello, which was premiere by Hannah Whitehead at the New Modern Art Gallery in Charlotte
It was a truly amazing experience in which I got to write for, and work with, some truly talented musicians and composers alike.
